Training and facilitation
STS can use its wide range of sustainable transport experience to train and build new capacity within organisations. We can also work with organisations to facilitate the development and implementation of sustainable transport and travel schemes. We have experience of:
- Organising seminars and conferences.
- Topic specific workshops and focus groups.
- Development and implementation of training programmes.
- Supporting organisational and behavioural change within organisations.
We have worked on the EC funded BioNett project to develop a training programme and materials to build capacity with Energy Agencies to provide advice on biofuels. STS developed a seminar series on "Transport Essentials" providing the key information to local authority staff on sustainable transport issues. We were also part of a series of seminars providing advice to the freight industry on fuel management issues.
